• Assembly

Function: Assembly requires the orderly and detailed construction of a finished product part by part, each of which may be affixed to the other or to the whole using any number of means (e.g., snap-in fits, screws, bolts, adhesives, soldering, welding, and the like).

Application: MCFI Commercial Services is known for its ability to assemble a variety of product configurations that include X-ray panels, lights, flag poles, wire harnesses,  games, toys, POP displays, and many, many other products.

• Collating

  Function: Collating involves the orderly grouping of variably sized/shaped pieces of literature and related materials (folders, inserts, premiums, postcards, and the like) in a predesignated sequence.

  Application:  MCFI Commercial Services is practiced in the manual assembly of diverse and asymmetrical printed materials that are part of mass mailings (e.g., that may be periodically issued by insurance companies, banks, catalog centers, and others).   Automated collating methods are available or can be developed. 

• Gluing

Function: Gluing is a method for adjoining surfaces using adhesive technologies (e.g., hotmelt, cold, pressure-activated, heat-activated)

• Labeling

• Re-Packing

Function: Re-packaging is frequently a method for recovering or downsizing larger unitized products, reconfiguring products to include or exclude parts for remarketing.

Application: MCFI Commercial Services is engaged in building kits and smaller retail product configurations from larger inventories.

• Sorting

Function: Sorting is the grouping of similar or dissimilar parts that can be containerized into lesser subsets.

• Validation

Function: Validation includes sub-contract quality testing, reinspection, repair and related functions to provide assurance that product shipped or returned can be segregated between good and bad and/or restored to good.

Application: MCFI Commercial Services applies product validation techniques in conjunction with its fulfillment operation and sometimes where product is shipped from foreign sources and requires light assembly and retesting.
